QUALITY AUDITOR - Tredegar
Accountabilities
• To work as part of a small team, under your own supervision & initiative
• Check product / parts quality throughout the day ensuring company procedures are followed.
• Complete relevant documentation which includes audit sheets & dimensional reports
• Checking items on checking fixtures (jigs) & confirming part accuracy
• To act as an advisor to production teams with regards to internal quality and actively seek continuous improvement.
• Carrying out containments on and off site when required
• Auditing and confirming countermeasures / Quality systems
• Product testing including destruction, macro and CMM
Essential skills/experience:
• Good decision making skills
• Ability to use basic inspection equipment (Vernier's, Micrometers, Thread gauges)
• Knowledge and experience of working to ISO 9000/2
• Good communication skills (written & verbal)
• Good understanding of production processes
• Full Driving license
Person profile:
• Self-motivated able to work on own initiative
• Ability to communicate with fellow employees confidently and with integrity
• Hands on approach (role is definitely not desk bound) ability to work and audit to procedure logically and systematically
• Practical, down to earth with a determination to resolve problems to ensure they
• do not re-occur or reach the customer
• Excellent time and attendance record
• Good communication skills
• Good PC skills
Package
• 8.29 per hour.
• Rotating two shift pattern (am / pm)
• Shift Allowance 20% on the pm shift
• 25 days holiday plus 8 bank holidays
