Our client in Welshpool is recruiting for a Financial / Administration Assistant.

The ideal candidate for this role should maintain accurate and timely financial data using SAGE 50 Accounts Plus.

The main responsibilities for this role will be:
Sales ledger - Customer invoices
• Compile approx. 270 monthly customer invoices from Trade recycling and waste collections
• Update ledger and manage aged debtors
• Update customer accounts with receipts via cheques and BACS
• Investigate and resolves customer queries received via email and telephone
Purchase ledger - Supplier invoices
• Input supplier invoices to purchase and nominal ledger using nominal and department codes
• Check monthly supplier statements
• Reconcile bank account from sales and purchase ledger
• Prepare supplier payments for monthly BACS payments

The ideal candidate for this position should have the following skill set:
• Use and experience of Sage accounts and Microsoft Office
• Accurate and quick data entry
• Approachable and flexible with the ability to multi task

The hours for this position are 15 - 22.5 and flexible on days.
