Revive Recruitment are looking to engage with a Junior Accountant for an exciting opportunity within an expanding Practice in Chester:
Job Title: Junior Accountant
Contract details: Permanent
Location: Chester
Salary: Up to 20,000 per annum depending on qualifications and experience
Our client is growing consultancy who are seeking an ambitious and customer focused Junior Accountant to join their friendly team. You will be providing excellent customer service in order to provide technical advice to new and existing clients as well as be responsible for responding to enquiries, concerns and requests along with developing the business. The successful candidate will be involved in:
Key Responsibilities:
• Preparation of tax returns.
• Preparation of accounts.
• Additional projects when directed.
• Speaking with clients on the phone and or face to face and deal with any issues that may arise.
• Taking part in conference calls and meetings.
• Ad hoc technical queries.
• Advising existing and potential clients on all areas of accounts and taxation.
• Liaising with clients and interested parties to move projects forward.
• Client consultancy visits.
Essential Skills:
• AAT Qualified (or equivalent qualification or experience)
• Articulate with high-level written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work alone and unsupervised.
• Conscientious and motivated with strong personal initiative - seeking out jobs to undertake and developing skills.
• High level of computer literacy. Intermediate abilities in MS Word and Excel.
• A confident communicator who demonstrates plenty of enthusiasm and energy.
• Ability to multi-task and prioritise work.
• Personable and professional communication skills
The Package:
• A permanent position within a successful and expanding team.
• An excellent starting salary.
• Bonus Scheme.
• Hours: Monday to Friday 9:00am to 5:30pm.
• 24 days holiday per year, plus bank holidays.
• Free car parking.
• Kitchen area.
• Pension scheme after probation period.
