Location: Leicester

Summary of Role:
Performing the accounting administration duties for the Leicester office and expenses. DOA Maintenance, Oracle i-expense, VAT recovery on expenses, expenses support / training for other admin staff.


Job Requirements:
*Prepare and post all journals relating to cheque payments into the Oracle G/L,
*Prepare listing and bank all cheques received and provide details to credit management,
*Process approved expenses. Ensure expenses are correctly signed off by management / check expenses for accuracy,
*Answering expense queries. Audit of expenses & VAT reclaim on expenses,
*Maintenance of the i-expense hierarchy and approval levels in Oracle,
*Maintenance of the DOA policy,
*Set up of the employee records for I-Expense and time recording for Oracle,
*Provide payroll administrative support for the payroll manager,
*Provide support to produce the VAT EC Sales & intrastat submissions to HMRC
*Carry out administration of COF system for AR approvals. Ensure that all AR's are approved in accordance with the DOA,
*Check contractor invoices and code. Agree the rates to the HR system, time sheets to clarity and code invoice to correct departments,
*Provide cover for the local finance duties performed by the Leicester finance administrator,
*Monitor and produce the monthly accrual for utilities,
*Maintenance and updating of the company expenses policy.

Qualifications:
*Previous experience in a financial administration role,
*Excellent communication skills (telephone, face-to-face and written),
*Good working knowledge of MS Office. Oracle/Peoplesoft knowledge ideal.

Package:
*Salary: circa £20,000 - £22,000 (subject to experience)
*Hours: Mon-Fri 8:30am - 5:00pm (full-time),
*Holiday: 25 days + STAT
*Pension
