Manufacturing Scientist/Pharmacy Technician - full time

The Manufacturing/Pharmacy Technician assists with the preparation of a range of drug dosage forms for administration in early phase clinical trials. Role specific training will be given. There is a requirement to work within the industry's regulatory framework whilst adhering to clinical trial protocols in this role. Good attention to detail and excellent written documentation skills are also required. You would work within a multidisciplinary team that offers knowledgeable advice on the preparation of pharmaceutical compounds to other technical teams. There is a need to interact with a wide range of clinical/scientific teams to ensure correct working practices are in place, timelines are defined and met within this challenging environment. Previous experience in dispensing clinical trial medicines or in a pharmaceutical manufacturing environment is an advantage. The work regularly involves early mornings to assist in preparing clinical trial material for dosing at or before 9am. Basic computer/keyboard skills are a requirement for the preparation of documentation in this role.
