HGV1 drivers immediately required for ongoing work over 7 days a week, with our client based in Portsmouth. GBP11.00 per hour Mon to Fri Day, GBP13 per hour Mon to Fri Nights, GBP13 to GBP15.00 per hour Weekends. Shift start times vary.
This is consistent, on-going, work and you will be booked well in advance to suit your own availability.
Interaction Recruitment are proudly supporting our client who are a national logistics provider of fresh produce and we provide them with HGV1 drivers to work shifts at their depot in Portsmouth. You will be required to make various collections of fresh produce from individual producers or make deliveries to some of the main RDC's around the country. You will operate as an HGV driver safely but efficiently at all times focusing heavily on remaining compliant with your driving and working time hours.
We are looking for candidates who take pride in their role as an HGV driver and are organised with their own working practices.
To be considered you must meet the following criteria:
> A full UK C+E Category driving licence held for at least 2 years.
> UK issued Digital Tachograph card.
> 35 hours completed of driver CPC (DQC Card).
> Over 23 years old (for insurance reasons).
> A good level of understanding spoken and written English.
> No more than 6 penalty points on the licence, which must be a maximum of 3 points per offence.
> No current or previous DR/DD/CU/IN endoresments.
