Our client based in Upper Heyford, Oxfordshire requires up to 6 x ongoing Warehouse Operatives , to join their team on temporary to permanent contracts.
Our client specialise in the storage of boxes, magnetic media back-up tapes and scanned documents in a range of storage settings. Across a host of buildings, our client hold millions of boxes, often of sensitive data and paperwork.
As a member of our clients team, you will be required to assist with the day to day running of the warehouse. This will include:
Assisting with loading & unloading containers as they arrive.
Moving boxes of stock to specific locations within the site.
Picking items of stock out when clients require.
Boxes can weigh between 15kg - 30kg and you will be moving around 500 boxes per day. Therefore any candidate wishing to apply for this position must be physically fit.
Due to the location of the job (Heyford Park) candidates will need their own transport to reliably get to and from work each day.
Hours :
8.30am - 5.00pm
Monday - Friday
Overtime available
37.5 hours per week
Pay :
GBP8.50 per hour through agency
Weekly pay every Friday
GBP16,477 per annum when taken on permanently
