HGV1 (Class1) delivery drivers urgently required for our client, a leading distributor of ambient food stock, at their depot based on the outskirts of Southampton. Regular shifts available, very good rates of pay. Immediate start available for the right candidates.
Interaction Recruitment are proudly supporting our client in their recruitment of driving staff at their depot near Southampton. We are looking for HGV1 drivers who are customer focused with a positive attitude. You will be required to make deliveries of food stock using roll cages and tail-lift. Experience of this kind of work would be a distinct advantage, however full induction training will be provided.
start times are typically very early and you will mostly be expected to start between 02:00 - 06:00. You must be comfortable with manual handling as roll cages can be heavy at times.
For insurance reasons you must meet the following criteria:
> Full UK HGV1 (category c+e) driving licence - held for at least 2 years
> UK digital tachograph card
> Fully completed driver CPC (DQC)
> No more than 6 penalty points on the licence
> No single infringement of more than 3 points
> No previous DR / DD / IN / CU convictions
> A high level of spoken and written English
