Our client is currently seeking a number of trainee operators
For this role it is essential that you have some knowledge of engineering principles ie. understanding engineering drawings, measuring equipment and ideally have experience of operating CNC machines, although not essential as full training will be provided.
You will ideally be accustomed to working in a fast paced production environment. You will be responsible for own quality checks producing batched products. An understanding of relevant Health & Safety is essential.
You will initially be employed on a temporary basis but this could lead to permanent employment for the right candidate after 13 weeks your pay will increase to GBP8.30 post 13 weeks and following 26 weeks and achieving targets your hourly rate will increase to GBP8.97.
You will start on day shift 08:00 - 16.30 Monday - Friday. Overtime is regularly available before and after shift.
