This is an opportunity to join established provider of Waste Water Treatment Technologies to the UK Water Industry; clients include the 11 UK Water Utilities.
They are currently seeking a welder/fabricator within their busy manufacturing facility at Indian Queens, Cornwall.
They are an established provider of waste water treatment technologies to the UK water industry; clients include the eleven UK water utilities.
The successful candidate shall work within the fabrication department, reporting to their Fabrication workshop manager.
Your duties and responsibilities will vary but include:.
Main Duties:
Fabrication of medium to large products of up to 5 tonnes.
Bench work as and when required.
Essential requirements:
- Experience with stainless steel MIG and TIG welding.
- Ability to work unsupervised.
- Ability to develop patterns.
Desirable:
- Completed an apprenticeship in this trade.
- Own Hand Tools.
-- MMA welding experience.
EN287 and ASME IX
Selected applicants will be required to attend an interview and carry out a supervised weld/task test.
Usual working hours are 8:00 to 17:15 Mon-Thur and Fri 8:00 to 13:00 with excellent holiday provisions.
