We are currently seeking two Multi-Skilled Carpenters to join our team based in Redhill, Surrey. The main purpose of the Carpenter role is to carry out repairs and improvement works as required, undertaking both responsive and planned carpentry works to properties. Within this role your main responsibilities will include carrying out a range of carpentry works in properties and communal areas from minor repairs to larger one-off projects, carrying out inspections to properties to determine the extent of the work required and ensuring that appointments made are met and completed right first time and properties are left safe, clean and tidy. You will also be expected to participate in the emergency call out cover outside normal working hours, keep accurate and timely records and record all materials used and maintain sufficient van stock to ensure that target dates are adhered to.
 
The successful candidate will have worked within a similar role previously and will hold a relevant, recognised qualification. You will be a strong communicator who can build rapport easily with residents in order to resolve queries and issues and you will be able to cope with a demanding and varied workload. You will be committed to providing a high level of customer service and you will be highly organised, enabling you to plan and prioritise effectively. A full UK driving licence is essential.
