We are looking for a Trainer for our Financial Services client based in Salisbury. Permanent, Full time with a competitive salary - focus is on soft skills.

Job Purpose/Summary of the Trainer:

Reporting to the Head of L&D, the successful Trainer will design and deliver training events/activities. The successful Trainer will be expected to embed the principles of Think Investor in every training event/activity they support/deliver ensuring delegates meet our required behaviours. Support delivery of key L&D based projects and programmes

Main Accountabilities/Purpose of the Trainer:

• Working with the Business to identify training and development needs within the organisation.

• Support the Head of L&D in designing and developing training and development programmes based on the organisation and individual needs.

• Support Head of L&D in delivering L&D based projects

• Deliver effective and structured training /development courses and programmes - both soft skills and technical as required. Head of Learning and Development (L&D)

• Ensures statutory, regulatory, and other mandatory training requirements are met.

• Promotes the delivery of a quality service and aligned to Business priorities, Think Investor and our Values and Behaviours framework • Evaluate effectiveness of training with post course feedback, reviews, exams, mentoring.

Job knowledge, skills, qualifications and experience required: Required • Training and presentation skills. • Training experience at an informal or formal level. • Confidence in controlling groups. • Strong communication skills both verbal and written. • Good organisational skills. • Microsoft Office skills. • Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.

Desired • Training design and delivery experience within a Financial Services environment. • High level of technical competency (in general or specific to your existing role). • Qualification at CF1 level or equivalent.
