A new and exciting opportunity has arisen for a Head of HR (People Strategy Manager) to join a world leading Christian charity organisation, based in Milton Keynes, Bucks.
The role is a Fixed term contract for 12 months with a salary is GBP36,994, working 36.5hours a week.
Your role will be to support the HR director in moulding the HR strategies in accordance with the companies' existing values and their forward plan.
Duties and responsibilities -
* ?? Support HR strategies including the ''people strategy''
* ?? Manage and lead the team in supporting the strategic goals to build people capability and capacity in the organisation ensuring staff are trained and developed to deliver targets set
* ?? Lead various projects
* ?? Work with Business Partners to ensure you attract and retain staff
* ?? Identify the need for change
* ?? Lead and facilitate change as required
* ?? Ensure there is a carefully outlined process for progression of people within the talent management process to ensure attraction and retention of staff
* ?? Ensure new staff members are effectively inducted into the organisation
* ?? Articulate and integrate a distinctively Christian focus to the people management practices
* ?? Full participation in devotional meetings
* ?? Manage consultancy and project budgets
Essential Skills and Qualifications -
* ?? Relevant CIPD qualification
* ?? A Degree in HR Management or Organisational Development or equivalent relevant experience which shows the development of thinking and communication skills
* ?? Experience in developing people strategies
* ?? Proven track record of leading and managing a team
* ?? Experience within a changing culture
* ?? Team player that can work collaboratively with colleagues
* ?? Actively seeking to bring Biblical principles and models into the heart of HR interactions
* ?? Employ a range of influencing skills and styles, respect and clarify others' positions, and persevere in seeking to bring positive change
