TITLE: Senior Accounts Administrator-Part time (School hours)

LOCATION: Northampton, Northamptonshire

WORKING HOURS: Part time, Permanent -Monday to Friday 9.30am to 2.30pm - 25 hours a week

SALARY: GBP24,000 per annum (pro-rata GBP12.30 per hour)

THE ROLE: Senior Accounts Administrator - Northampton, Northamptonshire

To provide effective accounts support and assist in ensuring customer and business requirements are achieved.

RESPONSIBILITIES: Senior Accounts Administrator- - Northampton, Northamptonshire

Nominal Ledger
Posting weekly payroll journals
Check nominal postings correct to department and nominal code
Allocate central costs to departments
Accrual and prepayment journals
Run basic profit and loss reports for departmental managers and analysis where required
Company credit card reconciliation
Allocate employee expenses to departments

Sales Ledger
Posting receipts to customer accounts and allocating to invoices paid
Chase outstanding debtors
Deal with queries raised by customers
Corresponding with customers to resolve queries by telephone and email
Assist with raising customer invoices (if required) to meet month end deadline

Purchase Ledger
Reconcile supplier statements
Generate payments to suppliers
Posting direct debits to supplier accounts and allocating to invoices paid
Deal with invoice to purchase order rejections passed from the accounts administrator
Deal with queries raised by suppliers
Corresponding with suppliers to resolve queries by telephone and email
Assist with posting supplier invoices (if required) to meet month end deadline

Assisting with the following (if required) when colleagues on holiday
Raise customer invoices
Raise customer statements
Input purchase orders
Match supplier invoices to purchase orders
Raise customer KPI reports
Raise customer daily delivery reports
Process weekly paid employees' timesheets

Desired Skills and Experience: - Transport Office Drivers Administrator - Northampton, Northamptonshire-

Previous experience in a Finance/accounts Admin role essential
Experience of posting journals and month end responsibilities
Sage 50 experience highly desirable
Computer literate and able to use a variety of software packages to a high standard
Manage workload effectively in a pressurised environment
Good organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks competently
Maintain a confident, professional and welcoming approach at all times
