LCV Technician - Light Commercial Vehicle - Van Technician - Mechanic: Required in York, North Yorkshire
Salary up to GBP22,000 depending on experience + Bonus with OTE GBP27,000
We have an immediate vacancy for an experienced LCV Technician/ Mechanic on behalf of our client in York, North Yorkshire. To work for part of a busy Main Dealer, we are looking for a candidate who will maintain the high standards expected by the client, who takes exceptional pride in their work.
Candidates should be educated to NVQ Level 3 or equivalent and competent both working in a team and alone efficiently, and should be enthusiastic with a 'can-do' approach.
Duties will include carrying out diagnostics, servicing and repairs to LCVs (Light Commercial Vehicles), completing jobs to the highest standard; carrying out service and repairs based at the branch, adhering to company health & safety policies, general housekeeping, liaising with other departments.
The ideal candidate will have current or recent experience working as a technician on Light Commercial Vehicles, however we are also willing to consider applications from Technicians with experience working on passenger cars, looking to move into a Commercial Vehicle workshop.
