My client concentrates on helping its clients to make money by buying and selling shares in private companies and raising finance to grow their businesses. Their approach is to build long-term partnerships with clients, and adding real value by managing deals from the initial thought process, through to a successful conclusion.

The Role - Accountant

Due to the success of our client, they are looking to expand their staff size and hire a fantastic accountant to develop to the company's growth. With the company expanding, room for progression is there for the right individual to become a fully functioning partner.

Key Responsibilities for an Accountant:

*Support the partners
*Develop your own skills to become a fully functioning partner
*Progress with a growing company

You will not:

*Prepare accounts
*Carry out audits
*Give tax advice
*Perform due diligence for third parties

The Candidate - Accountant

Successful candidates will have:

*Creativity with good problem solving skills
*Ability to work in a team
*Entrepreneurial skills
*Ability to think and work autonomously (but not "territorial")
*Good project management skills - able to prioritise and change priorities at short notice
*Understanding of professionalism, ethics and providing seamless service to clients
*People skills - ability to influence and persuade range of clients
*Attention to detail, but not 'bogged down' in the process
