This new organisation, funded by a charitable trust is on a mission to change teaching forever. Using an advanced teaching pedagogy along with classroom technology and instant feedback during lessons, students learn more effectively and teachers can become the teacher they always wanted to be.

Looking to expand their online presence with an enthusiastic person who can drive day-to-day social media conversations across multiple channels incl. website, Blogs, Twitter, Facebook, Instagram, Pinterest, LinkedIn, Mail Chimp, YouTube, Google+, webinars.

Shape your role to create awareness of our products & demonstrate their thought leadership. You will have experience of managing social media channels preferably coupled with a good knowledge & passion for education. Working independently & showing initiative whilst being a team player is essential.

Tasks:
- Develop engaging, creative, innovative content for regular posts, to enlighten audiences & promote our brand
- Manage copywriters & other content creators, overseeing their work and offering direction
- Manage our contact database & plan campaigns in line with product releases, projects, events & promotions
- Seek content opportunities incl. photos & videos
- Curate, & manage published content (images, video & written) & liaise with external suppliers
- Monitor & respond to followers
- Manage & report on campaigns using analytic tools to track performance, make suggestions for strategy accordingly
- Contribute web editorial, blogging, news, newsletters & video content utilising a high standard of written English, attention to detail & a flair for proofreading & creative writing
- Research competitor activity & industry issues

Essential:
- 2+ years' experience in a digital marketing or similar role
- Thorough understanding of key digital marketing concepts & best practice
- Excellent communication, organisation & copy writing skills with the ability to work both individually & in a team
- Work with other departments to develop social media coinciding with product releases, projects, communication campaigns, or other brand messages
- Enthusiasm, passion & 'can do' attitude
- Good sense of humour
- Experience creating & monitoring social media, AdWords & e-mail campaigns to drive awareness, leads & sales
- Track record of using digital marketing to grow a user base & revenue
- Understand SEO techniques to improve performance
- Familiarisation with data protection compliance
- Create graphics, take a decent photo or video, extracting the right piece of text that tells their story. You need to be a whizz with editing software, creating GIFS etc. as well as carefully curating the content to define their brand & tone

Required:
- Digital marketing: 2+ years
- A full driving license & own transport
- Video editing
- Basic graphic design & Photoshop skills

Desirable:
- Degree in marketing, social media English/Journalism/Creative writing
- Education sector knowledge
