Process Engineer (Production/Continuous Improvement)

Nicholas Associates Group (Engineering & Technical Division) is recruiting on behalf of a long standing client for a Process Engineer to join a global manufacturing organisation supplying a broad range of products to the Automotive sector.
SUMMARY:
As Process Engineer, you will work in manufacturing supporting the improvement of the production processes and be instrumental in new product introduction and product launches on site.
KEY DUTIES:
* Strive to improve processes through the application of LEAN and continuous improvement techniques
* Participate in the FMEA process for current and new projects
* Analyse process failures
* Support new projects launches
SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS:
* Ideally Engineering Apprenticeship and HNC/HND/Degree qualified in an engineering related subject or equivalent
* A background in either Automotive or Aerospace is highly desirable
* Ability to understand and implement process control in manufacturing
* Experience in scrap / defect reduction
SALARY & BENEFITS:
* GBP35,000 - GBP40,000
