You will need to be an active Maths graduate who has earned a 2:1 degree or higher, and has the drive to show your desire of becoming a teacher. You will have the natural leadership skills as a graduate in 1:1 and small group situations to inspire. You will have the skills to devote yourself to school endeavours and show a keen interest in the career of teaching. In this Maths Teaching Assistant post you will be assisting class teachers within the dedicated Maths department. Part of your main duties will be the management and organisation of booster groups and smaller, individual sessions. As well as more specific duties, you will have a principally general role, working throughout the area to deliver support as and when needed. Your responsibilities will include teaching under a successful HoD. You will be teaching within a department where the emotional and social well-being of the students is considered just as important as the academic achievements.
