Salary: GBP25,000- 30,000 (Depending on Experience) & Benefits
A long-standing client, a market leading property consultants, are on the lookout for a talented Graduate Architectural Technologist to join their rural architectural and building surveying team which is based near Tamworth, Staffordshire.
As part of this position, you will be supporting the architectural CAD team, whilst getting excellent training, guidance and support. You will develop your project management skills, surveying skills and you will get the chance to work on some really exciting projects including; traditional and historic buildings.
Working as a Graduate Architectural Technologist, you will be:
* Assisting with the production of concept, planning and building regulation drawing packages.
* Preparing of tender documentation including preparation of schedules/specification of works (NBS) for construction and property renovation.
* Contract Administration and Project Management of residential refurbishment and repair works.
* Liaising with other professional consultants such as mechanical, electrical & structural engineers and ecologists etc.
* Meeting and advising clients, consultants.
Working as a Graduate Architectural Technologist you must:
* Have your BA in Architecture or BSc in Architectural Technology
* Be proficient in AutoCAD, Photoshop and Sketchup. Revit is a bonus.
* Have a full driving license.
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including accurate numeracy.
* Motivated and willing to work well both independently and as part of a team.
