The company is looking to expand their current workforce due to their product demands and maintaining production levels. As one of the biggest players in the market within a profitable industry they are looking forward to repeating and exceeding last year's success in the marketplace.
This is a automation/controls engineer role, working on all systems within the facility along with fault finding/programming on a mixture of PLC'S and control systems. Working within an FMCG environment you will be responsible for
**Role requirements**
• Acquiring a detailed understanding of all their automation systems
• Fault finding on PLC'S
• Programming PLC'S
• Working under pressure and to tight deadlines
• Basic hands-on maintenance & electrical tasks
**Skills, qualifications & experience**
• FMCG, Manufacturing or similar industry background
• Automation/ Controls engineering background preferred
• HNC/HND preferred but relevant experience would be considered.
• PLC experience essential
• Knowledge of controls and automation
Salary/shift pattern
Salary: Up to GBP37,000, with a very lucrative pension plan
Monday - Friday 8-5, flexible when required, 25 days' holiday
