Electrical/Electronic Laboratory Technician (Renewable Energy)
GBP27,000- GBP32,000 plus pension (5%) plus life assurance plus income protection plus 25 days leave

Are you from an Electrical/Electronic Engineering background with an interest in renewable energy? Does the idea of working on new technology excite you?
On offer is a superb opportunity with a leading player in its market with a unique product based on a new proprietary technology. They have exciting growth plans this year-now is the time to join them.
The company in question design and manufacture a brand new product. They are now looking for an electrical/electronic engineer with experience in building test assemblies to be part of the team working in a laboratory support and research position.
The Role
-Manual assembly of small (a few cm) to large (up to 1m) electrochemical cells using multiple parts including sealing components
-Electronic assembly, testing and debugging - including building circuits on stripboard, printed circuit boards, test box assembly and wiring.
- Carrying out experimental work (training will be given)
The Candidate
-Academic (ideally degree level) and working experience within Electrical/Electronic Engineering
-Academic or working experience in a laboratory/R & D environment
-Good soldering and wiring skills and experience of electronic assembly work
