We are currently recruiting for a HLTA for a long Term Contract in Luton.
The HLTA role is to manage a classroom ,ensuring pupils complete the work they have been set by an absent teacher.
HLTAs have now become a permanent role in most secondary schools.
RESPONSIBILITIES
: Managing the behaviour of pupils
: cover lessons in the absence of the teacher
: collecting completed work after lessons and returning it to the appropriate member of staff
: reporting back as appropriate
: dealing with any immediate problems
If you have a passion for teaching , are adaptable confident and organised, and are looking to undertake a Contract Position day to day or long term then we would like to hear from you.
The post will not require any marking or planning , all candidates applying for this position will be required to be highly adaptable and have a confident friendly approach.
You will need to be flexible and at times diplomatic.
The ideal HLTA must have,
: Good knowledge of the Key Stage 3 & 4 National Curriculum
: Experience and a passion for teaching and the ability to inspire students.
: Excellent communication skills
: Ability to work with and manage children with challenging behaviour.
: Be educated to Degree Level or Post Graduate Certificate in Education.
: Enhanced DBS certificate.
: Be able to Provide two professional reference checks.
: Legal right to work in the UK
.Recommend a teacher and earn GBP300 once the teacher has completed 10 days of employment.
Keep Education provide accredited CPD courses (continuing personal development) for all our teaching staff .
