As a Quality Analyst, you will be key to the testing process for our client’s innovative and market-leading software. 

You’ll co-ordinate the testing phases of projects, working on your initiative and providing innovative ideas to enhance the testing process and the tech our client uses. 

Debugging software products, you’ll create and execute test plans, manage system environments for testing and provide support to the Lead BA and Project Managers as required. 

A major element of your role will be to ensure the software configuration management process is carried out effectively. This will involve configuration identification, control, status accounting and audits. 

Additionally, you will help to provide support including onsite disaster recovery and will work closely with users regarding their requirements. 

Interested? To be considered, you will need: 

- Unit, regression, integration and user acceptance testing experience 
- Experience with automated testing suites and the creation of automated test scripts 
- Experience of configuration management 
- Experience with software development languages, preferably C# .NET 
- Exposure to TFS or similar project management and bug tracking solutions 
- Strong technical abilities, including knowledge of SQL and scripting 
- An understanding of the development lifecycle, software release processes and defect management 
- To be educated to A-Level standard, ideally in Maths and Computer Science 

Analytical and communicative, as a Quality Analyst, you will also need strong problem-solving skills, a detailed approach, particularly to providing feedback and the ability to pick up and learn a variety of new skills. 

Experience of working within a scrum/agile development process would be beneficial to your application.
