Designer / Estimator (Roof Truss) - Construction

Our client, a leading timber engineering specialist, is now looking for a Designer / Estimator to join their team in Ashton-Under-Lyne.
 
Within this role you will prepare quotations and designs to customers specifications, at all times value engineering to maximise profits. You will be required to put together the schedules and designs for manufacture, liaising with the customer throughout the process from enquiry to delivery, ensuring construction drawings are of accurate quality.
 
The successful candidate will have experience in a similar Designer / Estimator position ideally within the construction industry. Knowledge of roof truss products, or similar, would be beneficial as would experience with the MiTek suite of programmes, however this is not essential.
 
With strong communication, interpersonal and numerical skills, you will have the ability to work well with others and prioritise your workload.
