Our client, a leading social housing provider is currently recruiting for a number of roles at Acorn House in Bury St Edmunds, including a Project Assistant, Support Worker and Concierge and Security Assistant.

Acorn House offers supported housing for young parents, aged 16 – 25 years in Bury St Edmonds, Suffolk. They support young parents who are homeless or at risk of homelessness and who have housing related support needs.

Ideally, you’ll already have experience of working with vulnerable clients in a housing/social care setting. If not, you will be given on the job training but will certainly have the empathy, interpersonal skills and sensitivity to appreciate how everyday housing issues impact on quality of life.  Commitment to providing the quality service that our clients need is also essential.  You will have excellent communication and customer service skills and the organisational skills required to deal with a range of administrative issues.
