Regional Corporate and Community Fundraiser - 25 to 30 hours per week BLUR52941

Our Client is a top 100 charity, supporting people with learning disabilities, mental health needs or physical disabilities across England and Wales. They employ approximately 3,600 staff at more than 300 locations and support over 2000 people.

The Role

They currently have an opportunity for a Regional Corporate and Community Fundraiser to join them to generate new business funders and sponsors as well as manage and develop our network of existing corporate relationships; focusing on corporate supporters within the geographical area of Devon and Cornwall.  Essentially, you will be tasked with raising funds to cover the costs of running our ROC Wellbeing service and other projects and ensuring the work and mission of the whole charity becomes better known amongst corporate organisation and their staff.

Secondly, you will also plan, manage and execute a programme of fundraising initiatives including The ROC 5K Fun Run in Truro, to encourage the community and corporates to help generate income through well considered, thoughtfully planned and effectively delivered programmes of fundraising activities.

The Candidate

With at least two years’ experience of charity fundraising and experience of developing corporate fundraising partnerships for the charity sector, you will be able to manage and nurture business relationships and work to defined deadlines.  Candidates should have experience of, and a commitment to, working in the not-for-profit/charity sector and be capable of working accurately and with strong attention to detail.
