Servest are recruiting for an experienced Evening Cook to work within an onsite restaurant within a site based in Thrapston (NN14). As a evening cook you will have exposure to all areas of the restaurant- we are looking for someone who is used to working in a team, and that can communicate effectively with the customers and onsite client.

About the role;

You will report to the night shift manager be used to volume cooking.

Your main role is to ensure menu items are prepared and presented to a high standard,

You will Assist in menu planning, costing's, ordering, stock control and monitoring wastage

We are looking for a Chef with the following;

Ideally a background within business and industry contract catering

Qualifications 706 1 & 2 or NVQ equivalent not essential but desirable

To be able to work under pressure

Enthusiastic in driving the business and team forwards

Good working practices and a positive attitude

Good sound Knowledge of health and safety and food safety

Excellent communication and customer service skills – as you will be interacting with the customers base and onsite client

A real passion for food and service, with the ability to prepare and cook good quality seasonal food.

Due to the nature of the role you will be in direct contact with the customers and onsite client- we are looking for a high standard of customer service, someone with the ability to work to tight deadlines , be pro-active and happy to work in a fast paced environment. This is a small team so you need to be hands on and happy to support where needed.
