Heritage Care has fantastic opportunities for Support Workers to join the team at Market Deeping, Bourne, Lincs. Joining us on either a full time or part time permanent basis, you will receive a competitive salary of £7.60 rising to £7.70 per hour after probation.

Heritage Care is a charitable organisation that provides a range of flexible individualised care and support services for people with learning disabilities, mental health support needs and older people.

As a support worker you will need to develop warm and trusting relationships with the people who use our services to help them to lead fulfilling and independent lives.  No two days are the same – you will be supporting people with learning disabilities to undertake household chores, supporting with personal care, planning and preparing meals, to supporting them in leisure, education and employment activities in the community.

Experience of caring or supporting people in a paid or voluntary capacity is desirable however we offer full and comprehensive training with the chance to gain Diplomas in Health and Social Care.

You should have exceptional relationship building skills as you will be part of an experienced staff team working full time in people’s homes.  You will have a positive encouraging attitude and be able to demonstrate a good standard of written, verbal and numeracy skills as well as good basic IT skills. Most importantly you will have a genuine passion for supporting people with learning disabilities to reach their full potential.

You will be required to work shifts, including evenings, weekends and possible “sleep-ins” or “on call” duties.

The roles are based across our support living services in Market Deeping, Lincolnshire where we have three small homes providing support to adults with learning and physical disabilities living in their own homes
