Client is a leading Lloyd's Insurer are looking to source an Internal Audit Manager. This role is responsible for Internal Audits throughout the business (both in the UK and overseas), with particular emphasis on Underwriting, Claims, Solvency II and other key areas of risk.

Role requirements;

* Undertaking internal audits and reviews in accordance with the annual Internal Audit Plan; and ad hoc assignments as required
* Assess the adequacy of the mechanisms in place for identifying, analysing and ensuring key risks are managed within Group Risk Appetite
* Performing independent appraisal of the effectiveness, operation and documentation of the control framework in place
* Assist the Head of IA and Senior Internal Audit Manager in planning the audit timetable for the forthcoming year, including audit selection criteria.

Profile requirments;

* ACA or equivalent professional qualification - ACII or equivalent insurance qualification
* Good working knowledge and awareness of financial accounting and reporting standards (IFRS) and Solvency II
* Knowledge of the technical aspects of Group Underwriting and non-Underwriting functions
* General Insurance experience (with particular focus on underwriting and claims processes within the Lloyd's and General UK insurance market)
