Sales Progressor / Administrator – Bedford or Cambridge – Up to £8.50, Depending on experience – Permanent, Part Time
The Company:
Our client is an independent specialist, established in 1992, who offer a customer focused service based around quality, motivated and experienced staff. They are director owned and run and take a genuine pride in doing the very best job they can for their clients.
As a Sales Progressor you will support the branch team with the aim of progressing sales through the entire sales process from offer to completion. On a daily basis you will liaise with vendors, purchasers, surveyors and solicitors. It is essential that you are a methodical person who is used to working to tight deadlines. Being able to prioritise is key. A thorough understanding of the house buying process together with legalities is required.
The successful Sales Progressor will have a good background in Property and be ready for a new challenge and be able to assist with all necessary administrative tasks.
Hours and Pay:

Key tasks and duties:
- Responsible for dealing with a portfolio of properties and getting them through to exchange of contracts within 28 days
- Regular communication with solicitors and customers regarding the progression of the property sale
- Compile progression reports and distribute to the Branch Managers weekly
- Develop relationships with customers, solicitors, brokers, agents etc
- Liaise with estate agents and chase the chain
- Work to agreed strict deadlines
- Ensure all matters required are running smoothly
- Dealing with any issues that arise as professionally and as quickly as possible
- Clear and confident communication skills
- Strong understanding of the legal process
- Updating and maintain files
- Keep all parties updated
- Communicating deadlines
- Bring issues to the attention of Branch Managers immediately
Key Skills and Attributes:
- 3+ years experience
- Must be self-motivated
- Must be able to prioritise workloads
- Be a team player
- Possess a full clean driving licence
- Be organised, methodical, persuasive, diplomatic, proactive, and able to take initiative
- Able to multi task and prioritise work
- Respond well to pressure

- Proficient in Microsoft Office
