As a Sales Assistant, you will join Johnstone’s at our decorating retail outlet in Swansea. Your role will involve supporting customers, making sales for decorating products and equipment and assisting with deliveries throughout Swansea. 

This role is all about your attitude. You’ll need to be helpful and friendly and eager to go the extra mile to help customers. The position requires the candidate to be driven by sales and a can-do attitude to developing the business. 

Discussing customers’ requirements, you will work to understand their needs and advise them on the appropriate products. 

An additional element to your role will be making deliveries. As such, you’ll hit the road and get out and about in the local area, delivering products and outstanding levels of service.

So, is this the role for you? If so, you will need: 

- Experience gained within a customer-facing environment or role 
- A full driving licence 
- The willingness to undertake multidrop deliveries 

As a Sales Assistant, you’ll need to be friendly, articulate and eager to help. A can-do attitude will be key, as will the willingness to roll up your sleeves and get involved. 

Please note, this is a full time role, working 39 hours per week over six days. As part of your role, you will occasionally be required to work on a Saturday, but you will not be required to work late nights or Sundays.
