My client, a bespoke UK based Engineering Consultancy which specialises in Flood Risk, Infrastructure and Transport Engineering, is searching for a Hydraulic Modeller to join their friendly and supportive Team of Engineers and Consultants based in Bath.
Applicants are required to have a MSc and BSc in Hydrology, River Basin Dynamics or Civil Engineering and have experience working within a UK based Consultancy or Local Authority completing Hydraulic Modelling using Flood Modeller Pro or Tuflow.
It is also beneficial for applicants to have experience completing Drainage Strategy and Flood Risk Assessments.
As a Hydraulic Modeller you will have the opportunity to join a supportive and friendly team of Engineers and Consultants based in Central Bristol.
Candidates will be required to complete Flood Risk, Hydraulic Modelling, Drainage, Residential and Commercial Development Projects for Local Authorities, Water Companies and Private Sector Clients.
You will also have the opportunity to manage Hydraulic Modelling Projects from feasibility to completion and develop your own team.
Candidates will be required to complete;
-Flood Risk Assessments.
-Flood Risk Mapping using ArcGIS.
-Surface Water Drainage Strategy (full training will be provided).
-Drainage Area Planning.
-Hydraulic Modelling, Model Build, Verification and Calibration using Flood Modeller Pro and Tuflow.
-Develop a new Team and manage and mentor new team members.
