Our client are committed to making everyday life easier for disabled and elderly people. At the same time, they want to support those who assist them. The products and solutions include curved and straight stairlifts, transfer and lifting and repositioning aids, vehicle adaptations and medical equipment.
They now have a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Mechanical Engineer to create and develop design solutions for the projects. Using your excellent conceptual and practical skills, you will produce detailed design documentation, undertake appropriate analysis and develop test specifications to prove suitability in accordance with technical, quality, time and cost requirements.
The ideal candidate will have good experience of electro-mechanical design, with the ability to conduct engineering calculations and produce CAD drawings appropriate for volume production. Educated to HNC or Degree level in Mechanical Engineering or a related discipline, you will be highly analytical and methodical, with excellent time management skills.
