Aldridge, West Midlands and St Helens, Merseyside 
£20,000 per annum (reviewed every 6 months) Plus Company Car or Allowance, Allowance for Accommodation When Away from Home, 22 Days’ Holiday (per annum) Plus Bank Holidays 

Are you an engineering, manufacturing or business graduate looking to gain experience? Or perhaps you’re an engineering or manufacturing professional looking to progress your career with a highly successful group? If so, read on. 

With outstanding customer service and extensive technical knowledge, our client is one of the nation’s leading suppliers of piling products, tubular products and plastic building materials based within three trading companies. They are now looking for a Management Trainee to join their team on a two year training programme that may become a permanent position for the right candidate. 

You’ll receive extensive training throughout all the group’s trading companies, including a minimum of six months at our client’s business in St. Helens. You’ll be provided with an accommodation allowance when you’re based away from home. 

As a Management Trainee, you will complete our client’s management training scheme, with the aim to join one of their trading companies at the end of your contract. 

The majority of your training will be on-the-job, but you’ll also have the chance to complete in-house training sessions and formal external courses to enable you to realise your full potential. 

Specifically, you will: 

- Undertake various roles within each company and their departments 
- Work with the Directors and other Supervisors to understand the responsibilities and requirements of each department, such as Sales, Operations, Purchasing, Human Resources and Finance 
- Support a variety of projects 
- Assist operational teams during busy periods 

Interested? To be considered, you will need a degree (or equivalent) in an engineering, manufacturing or business-related discipline AND/OR experience of working within manufacturing or engineering.

Enthusiastic and eager to learn, as a Management Trainee, you will have excellent communication skills, a positive, ‘can do’ attitude and a team player mentality. 

Any of the following qualifications would be beneficial to your application: A Levels, a degree (or equivalent) or an HND Level 5 in an engineering, manufacturing or business-related discipline.
