Job Description LOCATION: Wisbech, Cambridgeshire
JOB TITLE: Daycare Assistant
SALARY & BENEFITS: Scale 2 Point 12-14
WORKING HOURS: 37hrs Full Time. Absence Cover from September 2017 - January 2018.
THE COMPANY: Our client is based in Wisbech and offers flexible, affordable, quality childcare to all families in the area. They have an exciting opportunity available for a Daycare Assistant to join their team.
THE ROLE: As a Daycare Assistant you will provide you will provide support to follow individual learning.
Key Responsibilities/duties of a Daycare Assistant to include:-
To work with the nursery team to provide high quality practice and provision for all children which supports the ethos, aims and policies of the setting
To support the implementation of the EYFS and support children to reach their full potential
To assist with the provision of a safe, stimulating and inclusive environment for both children and families
THE CANDIDATE: The ideal candidate will be a friendly, outgoing person who has excellent written & oral communication. You will need a positive approach with a can do attitude. You will need to live within a commutable distance to Wisbech.
Key experience essential for the role of Daycare Assistant:-
Qualified to Level 3 or above
Knowledge & experience of the Early Years Foundation Stage
