Welder / Fabricators - MIG / TIG - Production
The primary responsibility will be welding and fabrication of various gauges stainless steel products - and aluminium experience would also be desirable
The role is an immediate start and can be a short term contract if you require OR a permanent option as we are looking to fill the roles permanently and for the longer term.
Essential Functions:
•Weld components in tidy and efficient manner
•Examine work pieces for defects, and measure work pieces with straightedges or templates to ensure conformance with specification.
•Layouts, position, align, and secure parts and assemblies prior to assembly, using straightedges, combination squares, callipers, and rulers.
•Report all non-conforming material or parts to a supervisor.
•Ensure assigned work is understood prior to commencing.
•Comply with standards and procedures of Health and Safety Manual and Occupational Health and Safety Regulations.
•Complete assigned work within given timeframe and according to specification.
Knowledge / Skills / Expertise:
•Experience welding and fabricating with stainless steel. (aluminium would also be desirable)
•Possess a solid understanding of welding equipment and welding accessories.
•Must be able to read and interpret drawings, welding process and welding symbols.
•Ability and willingness to follow directions as well as the ability to work independently.
•Good verbal communication skills
•This is a 37.5 hour per week job with occasional overtime.
