Brightside is an insurance broking and financial services business that has a history of rapid growth in the UK. We are a Top 20 insurance brokerage seeking talented individuals who have a passion for providing great customer service, to join our vibrant and growing customer service team.
Our office is located on the outskirts of Bristol and is home to our Van, Car & Household insurance teams; providing cover for a wide portfolio of products including niche car and van insurance covering prestige and non-standard vehicles.

Customer Service Advisor
You will have a positive and enthusiastic approach to receiving inbound calls from our customers who have queries with their policy. Whether it is a name or address changes to something more complex, you will use your customer service skills to resolve and offer solutions. You will be working collaboratively with your team members to resolve customer issues in often challenging environments.
The Role
As a member of this dynamic team you will:
- Provide a personal service to all customers giving them information that is tailored to their needs.
- Pro-active and an ability to use your initiative to adapt to the department & customer requirements.
Essential Criteria
A successful individual will:
- Put the customer first in all instances.
- Have lots of energy, enthusiasm and an engaging personality.
- Be creative and adaptable to negotiate sales.
- Be self-motivated and driven to excel.
Desirable Criteria
- Working to FCA regulations or experience in a heavily regulated environment.
- Previous experience utilising various in-house computer systems.

Our spacious call centre is idyllically located in North Bristol overlooking the Severn Bridge. It is accessible via the M4 & M5, and consequently avoids traffic black spots. Due to our location it is essential that all our employees have their own transport to get to our offices, we have plenty of FREE onsite parking. We are easily commutable from Bristol, Chepstow, Newport and Stroud.
