IT System Administrator - £28,000-£35,000 p.a.
Burton Safes is a small but growing Brockholes based business with an ambitious 5 year plan. As a result we are looking for an IT Administrator to help us support a growing portfolio of technology driven products.
Full product training will be given but you will need to have a good understanding of the technologies that they use and run on and to enjoy learning how systems work. The role will be largely office based but, the successful candidate must be willing to travel nationally and internationally to meet with customers and complete installations.
Essential skill sets:
- Experience working in a Windows/Microsoft & Linux environments
- Experience working with and troubleshooting the following technologies: TCP/IP, DNS, Microsoft SQL 2012/2014/2016, Windows Server 2012/2016, Windows 7- 10, Teamviewer Remote Support, IIS6/7 Web, Firewall/Router troubleshooting, GitHub usage
- Ability to understand and discuss cyber security issues at a high level with clients’ IT teams
Experience advantages: PostgreSQL, .net Framework, JavaScript, Python, Restful APIs, C+, C++, ASP
