Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer with Electrical Bias in Ashbourne. GBP35k + overtime. Day shifts

Having won several new high profile contracts they are continuing to experience impressive growth. An experienced Maintenance Engineer is required to join their highly skilled Maintenance team.
Your new role
Reporting to the Maintenance Manager you will be responsible for installing, maintaining and carrying out improvements to equipment in the factory whilst working closely with other departments and always within quality, hygiene, and Health and Safety standards. You will be dealing with standard PPMs and handling unexpected breakdowns. You will need to ensure that downtime is kept to a minimum in order that production is not disrupted. You will be working on both an electrical and mechanical basis.
What you'll need to succeed
It is essential for you to have an electrical qualification, City and Guilds or HNC equivalent. Time served with a recognised apprenticeship is preferred. It is desirable for you to have experience in a manufacturing environment
Other essential skills:
- Experience working on high speed machines
- Any welding experience
- Hydraulics/pneumatics
- Fault finding
- Basic understanding of PLC's
What you'll get in return
You will be offered an excellent salary of GBP35,00 and an excellent benefits package, which includes pension - 4% employer contribution when there is a 3% employee contribution, 22 days holiday and life assurance x 3 annual salary.
