Customer Support Administrator / Sales Support - Global Brand

A fantastic opportunity for a candidate with some work experience within ether a sales support or customer support role looking for their next challenge.

About the role:


As part of our Global Sales Support team, you will be responsible for customer care and support for a range of our online products. Our customers will depend on you to solve any issues they have, so you'll draw on your analytical skills to take ownership and resolve customers' technical problems or online access issues. 

Key tasks to include:

System Processing for New and Renewal Customers:


+ Research customer databases and generate report in preparation for price quotation;
+ Produce accurate Preliminary Price Quotes, Final Price Quotes and Invoice Agreement Letters to send to Account Manager and/or customer;
+ Ensure quotes/licenses are calculated within the current Sales Models guidelines.
+ Produce accurate system invoicing for the payment of license fees;
+ Raise approvals to management for Credit Notes to adjust System Invoices where required;
+ Ensure customers' access is set-up accurately after invoicing;
+ Process orders for Non-Journals as assigned by Sales Support Manager.

Customer Care and Support for New and Renewal Customers:

+ Serve as main contact/liaison point for Account Managers, Subscription Agents and Customers;
+ Manage customer account set-up on ALM
+ Work with Credit Control to resolve problems on unpaid debts.
+ Reconcile customers' print subscriptions and holdings;
+ Assist and liaise with Journal Customer Services on DDP PF Invoices and subscription enquiries.
+ Prepare Usage Statistics Reports and Custom Access List for customers.

About you.

You'll be liaising with people at all levels and you'll therefore pride yourself on your relationship building skills. Attention to detail is an essential part of this role as you'll be managing lots of data and technical information, as well as generating reports using various systems.

You'll have experience in customer service, support or order fulfilment and will be very comfortable working with systems. Working as part of a global team, you'll bring experience and innovation to the table. It would be ideal if you have a publishing background, but your resourcefulness, adaptability, initiative and attention to detail will be more important.
