Our Client is a global automotive company, a supplier of heat exchange, air conditioning, exhaust, interior, and electronic automotive components. Headquartered in the UK and with operations spread throughout Europe, they are inspired to be a world leader in innovation whilst contributing to a sustainable society.

They now have an exciting opportunity for a Maintenance Engineer to join them based at their Sunderland site. This is a permanent full time position.

As a Maintenance Engineer you will be responsible for the maintenance of all processing equipment and facilities across the site. Troubleshooting and repairing machinery, you will lead thorough investigations of major breakdowns whilst allocating work to the maintenance technicians based on business and operational priorities. Assisting ME engineers in the development of improvement processes, you will analyse and report on equipment breakdown and ensure high levels of availability and efficiency of all production facilities.

They are looking for someone who is qualified to HNC or equivalent in a multi skilled engineering discipline, coupled with experience of working in a high volume multi-skilled manufacturing environment. With an Engineering or Maintenance background, you will have an intermediate knowledge of SQL databases and VB.net

Working proactively, the successful candidate will have excellent communications skills and organisational skills, ensuring successful completion of the maintenance KPIs and activities.
