Company background: 

Our client is a family business with 27 years of award-winning experience in creating, rolling out and managing bespoke customer food-on-the-move solutions. Customers include a selection of blue-chip companies in various industries, such as Shell, Debenhams and John Lewis. 

The Role:

You will have a passion for understanding data and have a keen ability to make decisions on order volumes in order to positively influence sales and reduce wastage across multiple product lines. You will be responsible for amending order volumes based on analysis, account management and seasonal trends. You will be a fast learner, quick thinking and able to work across multiple platforms daily. You may be required to assess and create reports on an ad hoc basis, as well as producing ongoing reports for the business, and so proven experience in data analysis and report creation is essential. 

The candidate:
The person our client is after is someone who's computer savvy, with an eye for detail and the ability to analyse data and sales trends. The perfect candidate would be someone with marketing experience, and who has done sales forecasting. You could possibly be a recent graduate with a couple of years working experience and/or someone who's keen to evolve in their role.

KPI's

- Order profiling on all product lines across the network - looking for ways to improve sales/wastage figures and actively making changes to support this
- Responsible for multiple product lines, keeping within sales and wastage targets set by the business
- Adhering to personal sales & wastage targets as well as understanding impact on team targets 
- Processing order amends using various systems  
- Managing reports, scheduling and forecasting of ordering models 
- Interdepartmental feedback on product anomalies, success stories and problem lines
- Ad hoc reporting to support data analysis of product and sales figures
- Provide data in an agreed format as and when required
- Identify process improvement and suggest solutions
- To prioritise workload and react to situations as and when they arise
- Creation and analysis of reports to support the Statistics team as and when required 

Flexibility:

Perform any other duties and objectives as required from time to time in order to contribute effectively to the achievement of the business aims and objectives. 

Key Skills:
                
- High levels of competence and experience in using database programmes and Microsoft Office applications - Word, Excel, Outlook etc.
- Understanding of seasonal trends and impact on sales data (ideally within foodservice industry) 
- Good understanding of forecasting models and ability to create forecasts for business 
- Good problem solving skills, with the ability to respond in a timely fashion.
- Commercial awareness and strong brand awareness
- Able to analyse reports: which will include wastage, sales by product, sales by store, comparing performance against last year, forecasting for months ahead including seasonal changes. 
- Performs well under pressure and able to make snap decisions when business dictates. 
- Excellent communication skills and able to engage with key internal and external stakeholders
- Time management
- Ability to work in a busy, demanding environment, whilst adhering to stringent deadlines.
- Willing to learn through self-development
- Understanding of Food service industry, product SKUs and sales activity within food service. 
- Full driving licence
