Operations Associate / Operations Manager / Coordinator / Operations Assistant / Account Manager / Customer Support

Operations Associate with an entrepreneurial spirit and an analytical mind is needed for our client based in Manchester, one of Europe's fastest growing and exciting startup companies. They believe that care should happen at home and are building the alternative to Care Homes for the elderly and their families across the UK and Europe. They are at the forefront of re-imaging the traditional care model. They work with professional carers to find the best match for their clients, ensuring that the choice to employ a live-in carer is exceptionally smooth, and providing help to both their clients and their families at time when they need it the most.

Operations is at the heart of everything they do. Your work will be diverse, challenging and highly rewarding as they scale the business across the UK and Europe. You'll be expected to roll your sleeves up and make an impact from day one.

Responsibilities:

  • Screening, interviewing and hiring new carers
  • Handling phone and email enquiries and requests from their clients and carers
  • Identifying and evaluating customers' needs to achieve satisfaction
  • Following communications, procedures and policies and helping to develop new ones
  • Maintaining and managing a quality supply chain
  • Giving feedback to the Sales and Product teams to improve the client and carer experience, as well as internal tools.

Requirements:

  • A good command of Excel and Google docs
  • Proven customer support experience or experience in a client facing role
  • Strong phone contact handling skills
  • Familiarity with CRM systems and practices beneficial although training will be provided
  • Excellent communication and written skills
  • Ability to multi task, prioritise and manage time effectively
  • Marketplace experience in another startup preferred but not essential
  • Entrepreneurial spirit and a willingness to go the extra mile when needed

Salary: £18,000 - £21,000 per annum + bonus
