Purpose of the Role:

  • To proactively manage the client relationship, seek opportunities and determine a strategy to effectively manage the risk and prolong the client life.
  • To ensure that security and profitability of the company is maintained at all times through effective client management.
  • To provide excellent standards of client service.
  • Effective client and Risk management.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Proactively seeks to understand their clients to allow them to spot both warning signs and opportunities.
  • Completes facility reviews, underwriting, risk frameworks and client visits as determined by the client status.
  • Chase, monitor the receipt and ensure compliance of monthly/other Operating Conditions requirements from client.
  • Develops and maintains own network of business connections in the local area. Upholding the reputation of the business and demonstrating the key behaviours.
  • Drives and applies disbursement income in line with Disbursement Tariff.
  • Through liaison with Client Service Managers ensure excellent standards of customer service are implemented and maintained.
  • Deputise for Relationship Manager as required.
  • Any other duties or projects commensurate with the level of responsibility of this role, for which the role holder has the necessary experience and/or training.

Key Requirements:

  • Experience - Managing a portfolio of clients and customer service experience.
  • Skills - Attention to detail, time management, account management, relationship builder, good organisational skills.
  • Qualifications - Minimum ABFA Foundation, industry qualification.

Desirable for the role:

  • Experience - Insolvency knowledge.
  • Skills - Presentation skills.
  • Qualifications - ABFA, Management, Customer service.
