Senior Project Manager with a network construction telecoms background is needed by our client a leading Dark Fibre telecoms provider. The role can be based from home with one day in their Edinburgh office. The company are currently going through a very exciting period of rapid growth, rolling out their fibre network across the UK with 13 current live city projects.

In the role you will manage a number of their fibre implementations roughly 4-5 city projects under your remit with a total value of C£15 million. You will be responsible for managing multiple stakeholders. Key relationships will be with:

Internal:

• E-Team
• Business Development Team
• Construction Team
• Operations Team (includes Sales and Marketing)
• Finance & Administration

External:

• Construction Partners
• City Anchor Partners
• Service Delivery Partners
• Local Council Officials

Required skills:

• 5 yrs + Project Management / Programme Management
• Commercial Telecoms experience (within network construction - Fibre, Ethernet)
• Proven track record in delivery of large scale complex (£20m+) programmes in a B2B environment within the telecoms sector
• Excellent communication skills (verbal and written)
• Significant experience of successful end-to-end Programme delivery incorporating business, service delivery, marketing/sales and technology components including network construction (ideally)
• Prince2 trained / PM authority
