Company Accountant

Our client a successful growing organisation based in Leicester is looking to add an experienced Finance Manager / Accountant to their small friendly team.
The company operate in a high growth industry focusing on manufacturing, distribution and retail, this organisation has gone from strength to strength in recent years with superb growth plans for 2017.
Reporting directly to the Managing Director you'll be a hands on accountant with a proactive approach to your working, actively managing the Finance function allowing the Managing Director to focus on other business matters.

The role:
*Monthly Management Accounts for multiple legal entities
*Submitting VAT Returns, EC Sales and Intrastat reports
*Stock taking, valuations and advising accordingly
*Bank and Balance Sheet reconciliations
*Monthly Payroll for all staff and managing the pension scheme
*Reporting on all finance matters to the MD
*Budgeting and Forecasting
*Petty Cash and Expenses
*Cost saving exercise's and adhoc projects
*Management of one member of staff
*Cover and actively involved with Purchase Ledger, Sales Ledger, Credit Control
*Adhoc Analysis for the business reporting on Sales, Profit etc to aid business growth plans

The person:
*Experience of SAGE 50 / XERO is preferred
*Solid Excel skills
*QBE / Part Qualified / Qualified candidates will be considered
*This is a Full Time role 9-5.30pm (30 mins for lunch)
*On Site parking is provided
