Sampler (Part-time) / Water Samples / Water Quality / Sampling Procedures

Our client supplies water to 685,000 people in the London Boroughs of Sutton, Merton, and Croydon, as well as across East Surrey and parts of Kent. They are a forward thinking, innovative company that is highly regarded for their efficiency and customer service.  

They currently have an opportunity for a Water Sampler to join their team, taking samples from Company sites and Customers' premises, and transporting and delivering the samples to their laboratory in Redhill. This is a part time role working 4 days a week, 08.00 - 14.00.  

As a Sampler you will carry out on-site tests and take water samples from service reservoirs, treatment works, boreholes, river monitoring points and customer houses. You will assist with the investigation into customer water quality enquiries and complaints. Samplers have to maintain detailed knowledge of all Company sampling procedures and relevant quality control procedures.  

Their ideal candidate will have good communication skills and experience of working in a customer focussed role.

They are welcoming applications from candidates who enjoy working outdoors as this is a demanding field based role where you will need to be physically fit. It is also essential you have a full driving licence and must be a competent IT user. Basic knowledge of plumbing systems would be a useful additional skill.
