Disabled Students' Allowances Assessor (Trainee)

             Trainee Starting Salary 22K      

Chace is an independent DSA Needs Assessment Centre, making recommendations for Higher Education students with disabilities including dyslexia.

The successful candidates will engage in a training program which will equip them with the skills required for independent assessing.  The training period involves working in tandem with an experienced assessor and the Chace team to provide a quality service for students.   We are looking for trainee assessors with excellent analytical skills, exceptional communication and the ability to write detailed reports. Applicants must be educated to degree level and have relevant transferable work experience. 

Chace has assessment centres in Newport, Treforest and Cardiff as well as centres in Cheltenham, Gloucester and Worcester.  The successful candidates will be based in either South Wales or Gloucestershire and be expected to travel between the different centres. A driving licence is therefore essential.
