Our client is an established and leading manufacturing business based in Cramlington who are currently looking to recruit an Accounting Assistant to join their team on a fixed term contract. This is an excellent opportunity to join a leading manufacturing company in the North East.
The Role
The successful candidate will be responsible for a variety of accounting duties within the company. The successful candidate will:
• Be responsible for accounts payable and accounts receivable
• Organise large quantities of financial data
• Liaise with other members of the accounts team
• Report to the Financial Accountant and Chief Operating Officer
• Review accounts to ensure that calculations are correct
• Reconciling financial accounts and direct debits
• Undertake general financial duties when required
The ideal candidate will:
• Have a minimum of two years' experience in accounts
• Have essential SAP experience
• Be experienced in Accounts Payable and Receivable
• Have large customer accounts experience
• Hold a minimum of three relevant A Levels or equivalent
• Hold Maths and English GCSE qualifications at C and above
• Have good written and verbal communication skills
• Be experienced in the use of Microsoft Office
